Agilent BioTek Epoch microplate spectrophotometer is a monochromator-based microplate spectrophotometer that offers functionality for the life science laboratory at an accessible price. Controlled by the powerful, yet easy-to-use Gen6 software, Epoch is designed to be the new lab workhorse for a wide variety of applications. For walkaway automation, an optional BioStack compatible Epoch is available.

Features

Cost-effective monochromator-based absorbance offers excellent performance and value, with filter-free, high-quality optics and robust hardware. The system quickly and efficiently reads microplates in 6- to 384-well format.
Wavelengths from 200 to 999 nm for UV-Vis applications enable fast nucleic acid and protein quantification in microplates. Qualitative and quantitative colorimetric assays and preprogrammed protocols in Gen6 software enable high-quality results.
Microvolume detection with the Take3 plate expands Epoch capabilities to small, 2 µL sample volumes for direct DNA, RNA, and protein quantification. Get rapid results for up to 48 samples at a time, without investing in additional instrumentation.
Flexible measurement for absorbance in 6- to 384- well format in endpoint, kinetic and spectral scan reading modes. Gen6 software immediately displays the raw and calculated data, plus standard curves and spectral scans, saving time in data analysis.
Walkaway processing is available to automate reading processes for 10, 30 or 50 microplates, enabling efficiency in your lab. A robot-friendly configuration of Epoch pairs with BioStack microplate stacker, freeing up lab time for other tasks.
